Ministry
The Pastor's Assistance department ministers to members of our church family who need encouragement in their spiritual and personal challenges.
Deacon/Deaconess Ministry
The Deacon and Deaconess form a deaconate and assist the pastor in the spiritual and administrative affairs of the church. The deaconate helps to free the pastor from the tasks not requiring special training, thus permitting pastoral time for greater responsibilities. The anointed tasks include: preparing for and distributing the ordinance of the Lord's supper; assisting in the ordinance of baptism; overseeing the missions ministry; the music ministry; the hospitality ministry; and visitations.
Trustee Ministry
The trustee ministry is designed to assist the pastor in the oversight of the business of the church and the legal requirements of the church as an incorporated entity. The term that is the equivalent of the biblical term “steward.” The term is applied to those who are responsible for taking care of another's property, holdings, etc. The term trustee is a term used to designate those who have been entrusted with the responsibility to execute certain business proceedings on behalf of the church.
Missionary Circle
This consists of group members whose mission is to Minister to the needs of the Ebenezer Church family and the local community. This group meets monthly to coordinate outreach programs.
