Building the Family of God
"We are committed to building the family of God through our ministries focusing on Evangelism, Discipleship, Worship, Fellowship and Ministry."
On Easter morning in 1997 the lord brought to the Ebenezer family Dr. Leonzo Daniel Lynch to serve as Pastor. During his current tenure the Ebenezer family has grown in spiritual strength and in numbers. Ebenezer has managed to grow in the development of new ministries that are vibrant and relevant to the needs of the congregation. The financial structure has been redesigned along with equipping the leadership with the necessary tools to be more effective in aiding the pastor in the area of discipleship. The worship service has undergone changes to make the experience one that meets the needs of all demographics. Upon Dr. Lynch's arrival the staff consisted of one full time and three part time positions. With his vision and belief in growth the staff has grown to five full time positions along with nine part time positions. Ebenezer continues to function under the principle of its mission statement which states, "We are committed to building the family of God through our ministries focusing on Evangelism, Discipleship, Worship, Fellowship and Ministry." The vision of Ebenezer is to focus on the current plight of the family by providing the strength and spiritual nourishment through our preaching and teaching to establish a strong foundation in the family unit.
